Wooden Yo-Yo

The humble yo-yo. You had one right? Probably the light up flashy kind that cracked when you 'walked the dog' with a little too much vigour. A favourite of most 70's, 80's and 90's childhoods and still super cool!

The yo-yo is actually considered the second oldest toy in history (the oldest being dolls). They originate back to Greece where they were made from metal and terracotta and were decorated with pictures of the gods. Greek children often gave up their yo-yo's in homage at the family alter as a right of passage into adulthood.

We are bringing yo-yo's back with the eco-friendly wooden charm of yesteryear.

Made ethically with love from mahogany and cotton.
